Hit Them In The Numbers

Caller ID can be faked.
Callback numbers can't.

Scammers leave real numbers on your voicemail. Share the voicemail with NumBan and we'll automate the takedown and alert you when the number is killed. Track your kills on the NumBan Leaderboard.

When the number goes dark, that's a kill. It counts on the board.

Features

The punch is the number. The rush is the board.

Most apps block a spoofed ID. NumBan goes after the callback number the scam has to keep alive.

Kill tracking in NumBan

Kill tracking

Watch the number go dark.

We re-check weekly. When it disconnects, you get the ping. That's a confirmed kill.

Leaderboard

See your number go up.

Ranked by verified kills, not raw reports. Monthly and all-time. Dead numbers are the only points that count.

Privacy-focused report interface

Privacy first

Your identity stays hidden.

Your personal email is never shared with carriers. Reports go through a NumBan-managed relay address. Public pages on numban.com only show aggregate, redacted data.

What people are saying

The satisfying part.

★★★★★

"I get three of these a week. Share the voicemail, done. Two of the numbers I hit are already dead."

"Blocking the spoofed ID does nothing. Hitting the callback number they need you to dial? That's the part that feels good."

"The kill ping is the whole product. Seeing the number go dead, then seeing it on the board. That's the hit."

FAQ

Common questions.

What is NumBan?

NumBan hits scam callback numbers. Share a voicemail from Phone.app. We extract the number they asked you to dial, file an abuse complaint with the hosting carrier, and track whether it goes dead. Confirmed kills rank you on the leaderboard.

How does NumBan verify scam numbers?

NumBan extracts phone numbers from the voicemail transcript metadata and independently transcribes the audio on your device. We cross-check both sources to confirm the callback number before allowing a report. This prevents false reports and ensures evidence quality.

What happens when I report a number?

After you approve the report, NumBan sends a carrier abuse complaint to the company hosting the callback number. Your personal information is never shared — reports go through a NumBan-managed relay address. We then track the number weekly for status changes.

What is a "kill"?

A kill is confirmed when a reported callback number becomes disconnected or is no longer routable after abuse complaints are filed. NumBan re-checks weekly, pings you when it dies, and counts it on the leaderboard.

Is my voicemail audio shared publicly?

No. Your voicemail audio is stored as private evidence and is never published. Public number pages on numban.com only show aggregate, redacted data such as report counts, carrier information, and scam type — never personal recordings or transcripts.
