NumBan is a consumer tool that turns scam voicemails into actionable abuse complaints. Instead of just blocking numbers, NumBan helps you fight back by routing verified reports to the carriers responsible for hosting scam callback numbers.

How It Works

Share a voicemail from your iPhone's Phone app. NumBan extracts the callback number, cross-verifies it against the audio transcription, and lets you review and approve a complaint before sending it. We track reported numbers weekly and notify you when they go dead.

Our Mission

The phone network is broken. Scammers operate freely because individual complaints get lost. NumBan aggregates verified reports from real consumers and routes them to the right place, creating pressure on carriers to shut down abusive numbers.

Privacy First

Your personal information is never shared with carriers. All reports go through a NumBan-managed relay email. Public pages only show aggregate, redacted data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
