About NumBan

NumBan hits scam callback numbers. Scammers spoof caller ID, but they still need a number you can dial. Share the voicemail. We file a verified complaint with the carrier that hosts that number. When it dies, that's a kill. Kills land on the board.

How It Works

Share a voicemail from your iPhone's Phone app. NumBan extracts the spoken callback number, files an abuse complaint with the hosting carrier, and re-checks weekly. You get pinged when the number goes dark. Confirmed kills rank you on the leaderboard.

Why the callback number

Inbound caller ID is cheap to spoof and rotate. The number they ask you to call back is the line they have to keep alive. That is the hit. Blocking apps miss it. Government forms rarely close the loop. The leaderboard is how you see the hit land.

Privacy First

Your personal information is never shared with carriers. All reports go through a NumBan-managed relay email. Public pages only show aggregate, redacted data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
